ENHYPEN has once again secured a top spot on the US Billboard main chart.
According to a preview article on Billboard's official website on the 25th (local time), ENHYPEN's mini 7th album 'THE SIN : VANISH' debuted at No. 2 on the latest 'Billboard 200' chart (dated January 31).
Billboard reported, "'THE SIN : VANISH' topped the 'Top Album Sales' with 113,000 album sales, and the SEA units (sales converted from streaming counts) were recorded at 9,000. Notably, the official streaming count of the album's tracks reached 9.51 million, setting a new record for the group."
With this achievement, ENHYPEN has placed six consecutive albums in the Billboard 200 'Top 10'. This includes 'THE SIN : VANISH', mini 3rd album 'MANIFESTO : DAY 1' (6th), mini 4th album 'DARK BLOOD' (4th), mini 5th album 'ORANGE BLOOD' (4th), full-length 2nd album 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD' (2nd), and mini 6th album 'DESIRE : UNLEASH' (3rd). This marks ENHYPEN's ninth entry on the chart.
'THE SIN : VANISH' sold over 2.07 million copies in its first week, making it the group's fourth 'double million-seller'. The album performed well on domestic and international charts, topping the Hanteo Chart's weekly album chart (January 12-18) and reaching the highest position on Japan's Line Music weekly 'Album Top 100' (January 14-20) and Oricon Daily Album Ranking (January 21).
ENHYPEN concluded their music show promotions for this album with a performance of the follow-up track 'Big Girls Don't Cry' on SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 25th. Following their title track 'Knife', which showcased sharp charisma and precise choreography, 'Big Girls Don't Cry' highlighted their witty and groovy charm, proving their versatility in concept execution.
