The funeral will be held on the 26th in Longgang, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, and will be a private ceremony attended only by family, in accordance with the family's wishes.
In response to the news of Yeung's passing, actor Jackie Chan posted a tribute on his social media. Chan expressed, "I just returned to Beijing and was shocked to hear of Mr. Yeung's passing. He was a beloved actor and a respected figure in the industry."
Yeung Siu-lung gained fame for his role as the final boss, the Toad Beast, in Stephen Chow's 2004 film 'Kung Fu Hustle.' His last appearance was in the documentary film 'Bruce Lee: The Man and the Legend,' released in 2024.
