Rapper Gaeko has announced his divorce from entrepreneur Kim Su-mi after 14 years of marriage.
On October 16, Gaeko shared a personal update on his social media, stating, "With a cautious heart, I am sharing some personal news."
He continued, "After many conversations over a long period, we have decided to end our relationship as a married couple while respecting each other's lives." Gaeko also emphasized their commitment to co-parenting, saying, "We will continue to fulfill our roles as parents with shared responsibilities. We ask for your warm support."
Gaeko and Kim Su-mi married in 2011 and have a son and a daughter together. Gaeko, a member of the hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo, has been active in the music scene, while Kim Su-mi is an influencer and entrepreneur managing her brand and content creation. The couple had previously shared photos from a trip to Japan for their anniversary, showcasing their happy marriage, making the news of their divorce all the more surprising.
