In the latest episodes of JTBC's 'Love Me', aired on the 16th, Seo Hyun-jin's character, Seo Jun-kyung, breaks her promise of secrecy with Jang Ryul's character, Ju Do-hyun, opening Pandora's box. The season of cruelty passes by, leaving no one unscathed.
In episodes 9 and 10, the 'Seo family' decides to live independently with their respective partners. Despite conflicts with his son, Seo Jun-seo (played by Lee Si-woo), Seo Jin-ho (played by Yoo Jae-myung) finds it difficult to part with the family home. Seo Jun-kyung proposes a clever idea to keep the house while allowing her father to pursue his dream of running a campsite. Ju Do-hyun moves in as a tenant, and Jun-seo comfortably settles in a rooftop room with Ji Hye-on (played by Dahyun).
Although Seo Jun-kyung enters a de facto marriage with Ju Do-hyun, she hesitates to take the next step. Despite Ju Do-hyun being a good person who shows her the happiness found in human connections, she fears the unpredictability of life. Her mother's vision reassures her that love encompasses both joy and sorrow. Watching Ju Do-hyun and his son Daniel (played by Moon Woo-jin) blend seamlessly with her family, Seo Jun-kyung chooses hope over fear and announces their marriage.
Seo Jin-ho embarks on a new chapter with Jin Ja-young (played by Yoon Se-ah) at the campsite. After hearing about a friend's sudden illness, he resolves to live happily and captures moments with Jin Ja-young, including a picnic with homemade lunches. Seo Jun-seo, determined not to burden his family, gains independence and secures a teaching position.
Life, however, throws unexpected challenges. Seo Jun-seo faces the harsh reality of needing to pay for his teaching position. Unable to confide in his family, he resorts to a short-term loan and takes on part-time jobs.
Trouble looms for Seo Jin-ho and Jin Ja-young as well. Jin Ja-young experiences disorientation while painting, unable to recall her surroundings or find her way home. Seo Jin-ho, worried by her distress, struggles to reassure her.
Seo Jun-kyung and Ju Do-hyun face unexpected news during their pregnancy planning. Ju Do-hyun learns of his congenital infertility, leading to confusion despite having a son. He decides against genetic testing, and Seo Jun-kyung agrees to keep it secret.
However, Seo Jun-kyung breaks this promise due to Ju Do-hyun's ex-girlfriend, Im Yoon-joo (played by Gong Seong-ha), who provocatively questions Daniel's paternity. This revelation opens Pandora's box, heightening anticipation for the final episodes. The concluding episodes 11 and 12 of 'Love Me' will air consecutively on Friday, the 23rd, at 8:50 PM on JTBC.
'Love Me' is based on the Swedish original series by Josephine Bornebusch and has been remade in Australia as 'Love Me' on BINGE/FOXTEL. It is available globally on platforms like U-NEXT in Japan and Rakuten Viki in the Americas, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, Asia, and India.
