The accompanying video hints at the team-based format. Phrases like 'Recruiting participants for Culinary Class Wars Season 3', 'This time, it's a team battle, not individual', and 'Apply as a team of four chefs representing each restaurant (regardless of cuisine genre)' suggest a shift from the previous individual survival missions to a team competition format.

Fans have expressed their excitement with comments such as "Looking forward to Season 3", "This is crazy", "Wow, Netflix has deep pockets", and "Can't wait to see what new emotions they'll bring".

'Culinary Class Wars' is a fiery culinary class war where underdog chefs, known as 'Black Spoons', challenge star chefs, the 'White Spoons', to overturn the culinary hierarchy. Both Season 1 and Season 2 topped the global non-English show category.

Season 2's finale aired on October 14, with the winner being Chef Choi Kang-rok, a hidden 'White Spoon' who re-entered the competition after being eliminated in Season 1. The runner-up was 'Black Spoon' chef Lee Ha-sung, known as the 'Culinary Monster'. Chef Choi impressed with a broth dish featuring tofu in the final mission, 'A Dish for Myself'.
