Former NewJeans Member Danielle Joins Chinese Social Media Platform, Sparks Interest

Former NewJeans member Danielle has made headlines by launching a new account on a Chinese social media platform.

Following the creation of her personal Instagram account, Danielle has recently joined Xiaohongshu, often referred to as the Chinese version of Instagram. Although she has yet to post any content, her follower count is rapidly increasing. It is reported that her sister, singer Olivia Marsh, is among her followers.

Danielle is actively engaging with her fans through her personal social media channels. On the evening of the 12th, she hosted an Instagram Live session titled 'Dear Bunnies.'

During the live session, Danielle greeted her fans, known as 'Bunnies,' saying, "Hello Bunnies," before covering her face with her hands and expressing, "Why am I already tearing up?" She continued, "I've learned a lot and had to protect many things over time. My perspective on family and the world has changed a bit."

She added, "There's one thing I must convey. Many situations are still being sorted out. When the time is right, I will share everything you're curious about. One thing is clear: I fought to stay with the members until the end. The truth remains with me. NewJeans will always have a place in my heart."

Previously, NewJeans' agency, ADOR, terminated Danielle's exclusive contract on December 29th last year and filed a lawsuit seeking damages of approximately 43 billion won. At the time, ADOR stated, "We intend to hold legally accountable a family member of Danielle and former CEO Min Hee-jin, who are significantly responsible for causing this dispute and delaying Danielle's departure and return to NewJeans."
