BTS Announces Massive World Tour After Four-Year Hiatus

BTS is set to embark on a monumental world tour starting this April, marking their first large-scale concert series since the 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' tour concluded in Las Vegas in 2022.

On the 14th, BTS unveiled the 'BTS WORLD TOUR' poster on the fan platform Weverse, announcing the exciting news of their upcoming tour. The tour will kick off in Goyang, South Korea, and will span across North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. A total of 79 shows in 34 cities have been announced so far, making it the largest single tour by a K-pop artist. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East are expected to be added, further expanding the tour's scale.

The concerts will commence with a spectacular opening at Goyang Sports Complex on April 9, 11, and 12. BTS will then meet fans in Busan on June 12 and 13, with the latter date marking the anniversary of their debut, promising a special celebration with fans.

The North American leg of the tour will begin in Tampa on April 25-26, covering 12 cities with a total of 28 shows. BTS will perform at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, marking the first and largest K-pop concerts in these cities. They will also take the stage at Stanford Stadium, becoming the second artist after Coldplay to perform there. Additionally, BTS will be the first Korean artists to perform at venues like AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the world's largest domed stadium by capacity, and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. In June and July, the tour will move to Europe, with 10 shows across five cities, including London and Paris. BTS will hold their first solo concerts in Madrid and Brussels.

The tour will also visit five South American cities, including São Paulo and Buenos Aires, with plans to extend to the Middle East. This expansive tour demonstrates BTS's global popularity, transcending regional boundaries. The tour promises immersive experiences with a 360-degree stage setup.

Ahead of the world tour, BTS will release their fifth studio album on March 20, featuring 14 tracks. This marks their first full-group comeback in approximately three years and nine months. The members intend to infuse their genuine emotions and reflections from their journey into the music.
