FTISLAND's Lee Jae-jin Cast in Musical 'Romeo and Juliet'
FTISLAND member Lee Jae-jin has been cast in the musical 'Romeo and Juliet'.

The musical 'Romeo and Juliet' is based on the famous play by Shakespeare. It premiered in France in 2001 and was first performed in South Korea in 2007.

Lee Jae-jin will take on the role of 'Mercutio', Romeo's closest friend. Mercutio is known for his free-spirited and provocative nature. His death at the hands of Juliet's cousin Tybalt sets off the tragic events of the story.

Lee Jae-jin is the bassist for FTISLAND and has been active in music, musicals, and television dramas. He debuted in musicals with 'Sonagi' in 2009 and has since built a diverse portfolio with performances in 'High School Musical', 'I Loved You', 'Return', 'Vampire Arthur', 'Harlan County', and 'Your Lie in April'.

In this production, Lee Jae-jin is expected to enhance the drama with his unique vocal and acting skills.

'Romeo and Juliet', featuring Lee Jae-jin, will run from March 24 to May 31 at the KEPCO Art Center in Seoul. Meanwhile, fellow FTISLAND member Lee Hong-gi is performing in the musical 'Sugar' until February 22.
