Lim Young-woong has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to share roasted sweet potatoes with by the fireplace.
From December 29th to January 4th, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to roast sweet potatoes with by the fireplace during the cold winter?' Lim Young-woong emerged as the top choice.
Lim Young-woong recently received the ESG Award at the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards' held on December 30th. He was recognized for promoting sustainable values through the variety show 'Little Island, Big Hero.' Additionally, Lim Young-woong held his 'IM HERO' nationwide tour concert in Daejeon from January 2nd to 4th at the Daejeon Convention Center.
Kim Yong-bin secured the second spot. He appeared on the January 9th broadcast of '금타는 금요일' and won a rematch against singer Jung Seo-joo. Kim Yong-bin scored 99 points with his rendition of Cho Yong-pil's 'Yesterday, Today and,' surpassing Jung Seo-joo's 94 points, thus gaining an advantage in the Golden Cup competition.
Kim Jung-yeon took third place. He held a solo concert titled 'PERFORMER: The Original Vol.2' at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, on January 10th, where he met with fans. Additionally, on February 2nd last year, the Seoul Community Chest of Korea announced that the fan club sub-group 'Yeon Love Volunteer Society'（연사랑봉사회） of singer Kim Jung-yeon donated 2 million won to the Love Fruit Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Currently, on the Top Ten TENASIA website（topten.tenasia.com）, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to share delicious Korean beef with during the cold winter?' and 'Which female trot singer would you like to share delicious Korean beef with during the cold winter?' among others.
