'Amazing Saturday' celebrated its 400th episode with a star-studded lineup, marking a milestone for the popular tvN show.
The special episode, aired on the 10th, featured guests such as Heo Kyung-hwan, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, IVE's Rei, and ILY:1's Wonhee.
During the opening, the cast celebrated the 400th episode. Kim Dong-hyun accidentally popped a '0' balloon, turning '400' into '40', humorously explaining it as an overflow of good fortune. Shin Dong-yup joked, "We'll continue for another 40 years."
Shin Dong-yup, who initially predicted the show's lifespan to be just four episodes, expressed his gratitude, "Reaching 400 episodes is a great achievement. Despite various challenges, we will continue to entertain our viewers with dedication."
Moon Se-yoon highlighted his dedication as a regular member, stating, "I am the star of the 400th episode. While others left for military service or other commitments, I stayed."
P.O expressed his commitment, "I will stay with 'Amazing Saturday' till the end, without faltering." Kim Dong-hyun thanked the show for transitioning him from a mixed martial artist to a full-time broadcaster.
Moon Se-yoon shared more good news, announcing Boom's second child. Hanhae humorously remarked on the growing number of 'Amazing Saturday' babies. During Boom's gender reveal, Shin Dong-yup joked, "He's a broadcasting monster." The second child is a girl, and Taeyeon congratulated Boom, saying, "Daughters are the best."
Guest Heo Kyung-hwan humorously noted, "Watching someone else's celebration is bittersweet," revealing he had appeared only three times in 400 episodes. He attempted to create a new catchphrase, leading to laughter.
Hyoyeon thanked the show for inviting her on such a special day, impressing with her announcer-like pronunciation. She revealed, "I can only meet Taeyeon on 'Amazing Saturday'." She also shared plans to form a new unit 'Hyori-soo' with Yuri and Sooyoung, jokingly taking on Taeyeon's role.
Hyoyeon's declaration left Girls' Generation members puzzled, with Hyoyeon expressing slight disappointment at Taeyeon's lack of response. Taeyeon humorously remarked, "I saw it, but it felt like their own league," showcasing her pride.
