The photo captures a moment from a broadcast featuring the late Ahn Sung-ki and a smiling Han Ye-ri.
Previously, a special documentary titled 'The Man Who Was Always There, Actor Ahn Sung-ki' aired, featuring narration by Han Ye-ri, reflecting on Ahn Sung-ki's 69-year acting career. In the broadcast, Han Ye-ri reminisced about Ahn Sung-ki, saying, "He was so energetic that he could carry me on his back and run. He even attended action school with me," adding, "He was always punctual and never missed a session, always diligent. I am grateful for that."
She continued, "Seeing such a great actor work so hard inspired me to work hard too." She also expressed, "He was the warmest person I've ever met, and while we were all grateful to him, he was always the first to say thank you. He was truly a special actor and a special person," shedding tears.
Meanwhile, Ahn Sung-ki passed away on the morning of the 5th at 9 AM in the ICU of Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at the age of 74. He had been in a coma for six days after collapsing at home on the 30th of last month due to food obstruction.
