Previously aired on Netflix, 'Veiled Musician' showcased the selection process of top vocalists from various Asian countries, including South Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Laos. 'Veiled Cup' is an expanded version where the top three from each country will compete in Korea, engaging in a vocal battle that puts national pride on the line.

Given the quest to find Asia's top vocalist, the judging panel for 'Veiled Cup' has become even more star-studded. Joining Tiffany Young, who is also active as an actress, are South Korea's renowned singer-songwriter 10CM (Kwon Jung-yeol), versatile entertainer Henry, (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, and singers Ailee and Paul Kim, who were judges for the Korean edition of 'Veiled Musician'. Actress Lee Da-hee, known for her roles as an MC in music shows like 'Queendom' and 'Road to Kingdom', will serve as the solo MC.

Director Lee Hong-hee expressed, “It was truly amazing to witness the top three from each of the nine Asian countries selected through the same format and method during their local finals. There were many participants with unique vocals and diverse silhouettes, which made 'Veiled Cup' highly anticipated.”

He added, “The performances of the participants gathered in Korea exceeded expectations. From those who flawlessly performed K-POP with perfect Korean pronunciation to those singing songs from their own countries, the variety was impressive. Despite the language differences, the emotions conveyed through music were palpable, reaffirming the power of music. With top vocalists from each country gathered, there was subtle tension and rivalry, fitting the title of a national competition. It will be exciting to see which country will produce the winner.”
