Nam Joo-hyuk Signs Exclusive Contract with Fable Company, Joining Star-Studded Roster

Actor Nam Joo-hyuk has signed an exclusive contract with Fable Company. His previous contract with Management Soop expired in December.

On the 2nd, Fable Company announced the exciting news of their exclusive contract with Nam Joo-hyuk. The company stated, "Nam Joo-hyuk is an actor who has expanded his acting spectrum by embracing a wide range of genres. We are thrilled to work with Nam Joo-hyuk, who has continuously evolved his career without being confined to a single image. We look forward to supporting his new challenges and ensuring he can pursue the path that best represents him as an actor."

With this contract, Nam Joo-hyuk joins a roster of talented actors at Fable Company, including Choi Woo-shik, Jeon So-nee, Park Yeon-woo, and Hong Min-gi.

Nam Joo-hyuk made his acting debut in 2014 with the drama 'The Mermaid,' capturing viewers' attention with his charming visuals and youthful appeal. He quickly gained popularity with his first leading role in 'Who Are You: School 2015,' earning both the Popularity Award and Best New Actor Award. His debut film 'The Great Battle' also garnered him several newcomer awards, establishing his presence early in his career.

He has since built a solid filmography with notable works such as 'Cheese in the Trap,' 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,' 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju,' 'Bride of the Water God,' 'The School Nurse Files,' 'Start - Up,' and films like 'Remember' and 'Josée.' Particularly, his emotional performance in 'The Light in Your Eyes' resonated deeply with audiences. In 'Twenty Five Twenty One,' he was loved for his iconic youth image. After his military enlistment, he showcased a darker, more intense side in Disney+'s 'Vigilante,' expanding his acting range with each project.

Nam Joo-hyuk's contract with Management Soop, which also represents stars like Kong Hyo-jin, Jeon Do-yeon, Gong Yoo, and Suzy, ended in December. After completing his military service in September 2024, Nam Joo-hyuk is set to return with the Netflix series 'East Palace.' The series follows Gucheon (played by Nam Joo-hyuk), who can traverse the world of spirits, and a court lady named Saenggang (played by Roh Yoon-seo), as they investigate a curse in the Eastern Palace at the king's (played by Cho Seung-woo) behest. Nam Joo-hyuk, Roh Yoon-seo, and Cho Seung-woo will lead the cast.
