Red Velvet's Wendy has been voted as the number one female singer people want to watch the New Year's sunrise with on January 1st.
The poll, conducted by TENASIA from December 25 to 31, asked fans, 'Which female singer would you like to watch the New Year's sunrise with on January 1st?' Wendy emerged as the top choice. On November 16, Wendy released 'Say You Love Me,' the second OST for the SBS drama 'Dynamite Kiss,' starring Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin. The OST features lyrical lines such as 'Just one word that you love me' and 'Now I know, I can feel it.' Last April, Wendy signed with ASND Entertainment after her contract with SM Entertainment expired.
In second place is Girls' Generation's Yoona. Yoona starred in the drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' which achieved the highest ratings among mini-series aired this year. She also showcased her versatility with the film 'Pretty Crazy,' a global fan meeting tour, and a single release. Additionally, Yoona held the final performance of the 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' drama fan meeting at Seoul Women's University Grand Auditorium in December.
Girls' Generation's Yuri secured the third spot. Kwon Yuri is set to hold her 2025 YURI's 3rd FANMEETING TOUR 'YURIVERSE' in Taipei and Seoul on January 10 and 24. Yuri was actively involved in planning the fan meeting, from the segment composition to the merchandise.
Currently, on the Top Ten TENASIA website(topten.tenasia.com), polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to eat rice cake soup with on January 1st?' and similar polls for female singers and trot singers.
