Trot singer Park Ji-hyeon expressed his gratitude to the show 'I Live Alone' after winning the Male Popularity Award.
On the 29th, Park Ji-hyeon received the Male Popularity Award at the '2025 MBC Entertainment Awards' held at the MBC Media Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo and Jang Do-yeon, bringing together entertainers who led MBC's variety shows throughout the year.
Park Ji-hyeon clinched the award through his appearances on 'I Live Alone.' Previously, fellow cast members Park Na-rae and Key had to step down from the show earlier this month due to allegations of receiving illegal medical procedures from the so-called 'Injection Auntie,' leading to their suspension from broadcasting activities.
In his acceptance speech, Park Ji-hyeon said, “Thank you for making me popular. I hear people refer to me as 'that guy from I Live Alone.' I am truly grateful to the production team of 'I Live Alone.'” He added, “I hope everyone here and all the viewers have a warm end of the year filled with luck and happiness,” extending his heartfelt thanks.
