According to the latest Billboard charts dated December 27, RM's solo track 'Nuts' from his second album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' has made a surprising re-entry at No. 2 on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart.
This resurgence is attributed to RM's recent activities. On December 16, RM shared on the global fan platform Weverse that he had recently obtained his driver's license. Fans connected this news to the lyrics of 'Nuts', particularly the lines "He a pro ridah, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo rider / Must be an A1 guider," leading to a spike in the song's popularity. 'Nuts' topped the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 45 countries, including Argentina and Brazil, showcasing its enduring appeal.
Past hits are also shining brightly. 'Anpanman', a track from their 2018 album 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'', soared to the top of the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart on December 20.
Forbes highlighted this phenomenon, focusing on the influence of the seven members. According to data from Luminate, sales of 'Anpanman' skyrocketed by approximately 50,000% compared to the previous period. Forbes noted, "Fans are revisiting BTS's past songs ahead of new music releases, with 'Anpanman' at the center. This exemplifies America's enthusiasm for all things BTS."
BTS's album chart presence remains strong. Their anthology album 'Proof' holds steady at No. 8 on the 'World Albums' chart, while Jin's solo debut 'Happy' re-entered at No. 12, and Jimin's 'MUSE' secured the 18th spot, further demonstrating their impact.
