'Avatar: The Way of Fire' (hereafter 'Avatar 3') has surpassed 2 million viewers on its seventh day of release, as of today, the 23rd.
According to the integrated computer network for movie tickets, 'Avatar 3' recorded a cumulative audience of 2,000,014 as of 1:40 PM on the 23rd. Since its release on the 17th, 'Avatar 3' has consistently topped the box office, continuing its successful run. The number of pre-sale tickets also shows impressive figures, exceeding 650,000 as of 1:48 PM on the 23rd.
Audiences who have seen the film have praised it as "the best movie of the year-end," and "a film for the whole family to enjoy in theaters." They also described it as a "masterpiece" and noted that it offers a unique cinematic experience, stating, "It's on another level. Truly Avatar!"
'Avatar 3' tells the story of the 'Sully' family, who are plunged into grief after the death of 'Neteyam,' the eldest son of 'Jake' and 'Neytiri.' The narrative unfolds as the 'Ash Tribe,' led by 'Barang,' emerges, presenting an even greater crisis on the fire and ash-covered Pandora. As the third installment in the globally successful 'Avatar' series, which attracted 13.62 million viewers domestically, it is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
