Park Bo-gum took the stage with a heartfelt 7-minute acceptance speech at the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards, despite the 60-second limit set for winners. While the signature tune from 'National Singing Contest' was supposed to play after the time limit, it was notably absent during his speech.
The awards ceremony took place on the 20th at the KBS New Building Public Hall, hosted by singer Lee Chan-won, actress Rhee Min-jung, and comedian Moon Se-yoon.
Park Bo-gum arrived at the ceremony around 12:20 AM, rushing in straight from an overseas schedule. He was nominated for the Grand Prize for his work on 'Park Bo-gum's Cantabile.'
Upon receiving the Entertainer of the Year award, Park expressed, "It's an honor to meet the seniors I've watched on TV since I was young. I'm deeply moved to receive such a big award. Seven years ago, I received the Rookie Award thanks to 'Music Bank,' and I'm grateful to the viewers who supported and blessed me to stand here again this year. Recording the program every week wasn't easy, and I thank the production team. As an actor and a person, I will strive to have a positive influence." The MCs noted, "Park Bo-gum spoke for 7 minutes."
