Lim Young-woong has been voted as the number one male trot singer people want to share warm fish cake with on a snowy winter day.
The poll was conducted by TENASIA from the 11th to the 17th of this month, asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to share warm fish cake with on a snowy winter day?'
Lim Young-woong secured the top spot. He plans to end the year meaningfully with his fans. From December 19th to 21st, he will hold the 'IM HERO' Gwangju concert as part of his 2025 national tour at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center. Lim Young-woong will deliver a setlist filled with mega-hit songs from his consistently chart-topping first studio album and the much-loved tracks from his second studio album.
In second place is Song Min-jun, who debuted with the single album 'Woman in Memory'(추억 속의 여자) through 'Golden Mic'(골든마이크) in 2019. He gained significant public recognition after appearing on 'Mr. Trot 2: The Beginning of a New Legend' in 2022. Initially a soccer player from first grade, he had to quit due to an injury. He later focused on academics, entering an engineering college, but dropped out after a month as it didn't suit him. He then began his journey as a singer.
Park Se-wook takes the third spot. Balancing his career as a singer and musical actor, he won MBN's 'Voice Trot' in 2020, solidifying his presence in the trot music scene. He has also been appointed as an ambassador for Anyang City and Gyeongnyeolbiyeoldo, expanding his influence beyond music.
Currently, on the Top Ten TENASIA website(topten.tenasia.com), polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to watch a movie with on Christmas Eve?', 'Which female singer would you like to watch a movie with on Christmas Eve?', 'Which male trot singer would you like to watch a movie with on Christmas Eve?', and 'Which female trot singer would you like to watch a movie with on Christmas Eve?'
