TWICE's Dahyun Makes Drama Debut in 'Love Me' with Co-Star Lee Si-woo
Dahyun, a member of the group TWICE that debuted in 2015, is set to make her drama debut in 'Love Me' alongside actor Lee Si-woo.

On the 18th, a press conference for JTBC's Friday series 'Love Me' was held at The Link Hotel Seoul in Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Chea-myung, Lee Si-woo, Yoon Se-a, Chang Ryul, and Dahyun, and director Jo Young-min.

'Love Me' tells the story of a somewhat selfish yet ordinary family that begins to grow as they each embark on their own journeys of love. The series is based on the Swedish original of the same name created by Josephine Bornebusch and has also been remade in Australia under the same title 'Love Me' for BINGE/FOXTEL.

Dahyun, who plays the role of Ji Hye-on, an aspiring novelist and editor, shared her thoughts on working with Lee Si-woo, who plays Seo Jun-seo, a character one year younger than hers. She said, "He was very considerate, which made filming comfortable." She added, "Since Jun-seo and Hye-won are portrayed as the same age, maintaining a relaxed atmosphere was important. We often spoke informally and spent time together even when not filming, trying to become closer by doing hair and makeup together."

'Love Me' marks Dahyun's debut in the drama world. She expressed her excitement, saying, "I'm just happy to be part of such a great project. The director and senior actors were very supportive, making my first drama a memorable experience."

Dahyun also mentioned the support she received from her fellow TWICE members. "We filmed from winter to summer, and the TWICE members frequently checked in to see how I was doing and if I was facing any difficulties. Their constant encouragement was very reassuring," she said.

'Love Me' is set to premiere on the 19th at 8:50 PM.
