The crime entertainment movie 'Project Y' has released captivating stills highlighting the intriguing relationships between its characters.
Set to kick off 2026, 'Project Y' is a gripping tale of Mi-seon and Do-kyung, who, while dreaming of a different tomorrow in the heart of a bustling city, find themselves on the edge of life. The story unfolds as they steal black money and gold bars, leading to a thrilling adventure.
The newly released stills offer a glimpse into the tangled relationships of seven unique characters chasing after black money and gold bars. Mi-seon (played by Han So-hee) and Do-kyung (played by Jun Jong-seo), who once dreamed of a normal life, find themselves betrayed by the world they trusted and lose everything. They then learn about the black money of Tosajang (played by Kim Sung-cheol) and plan to steal it. In the process, they also take Tosajang's hidden gold bars, attracting pursuers. The stills of Mi-seon and Do-kyung walking resolutely through dark streets and observing something in a dense forest spark curiosity about how these friends will navigate their precarious situation.
The image of Ga-young (played by Kim Shin-rock) grabbing Do-kyung by the collar with a furious expression raises questions about the past entanglements of Mi-seon, Do-kyung, and Ga-young. Additionally, the stills showcase Mi-seon's sorrowful face, Do-kyung's stoic demeanor behind the wheel, Ga-young deep in thought, the cold Hwang-so (played by Jung Young-ju), Seok-gu (played by Lee Jae-kyoon) seemingly plotting, Ha-kyung (played by YooA) in a moment of speech, and the icy Tosajang. These seven distinctive characters, intertwined by black money and gold bars, promise to deliver a captivating array of charms and relationships.
'Project Y' is set to hit theaters on January 21, 2026.
