K-pop singer Song Ga-in recently shared insights into her personal style and shopping habits.
On October 15, Song Ga-in's YouTube channel released a video titled, "Oh My~ Boss~~~~ Visiting My Third Hometown, the Underground Shopping Mall at the Express Bus Terminal! Ga-in's Popularity Shuts Down the Mall."
In the video, Song Ga-in visited the underground shopping mall at the Express Bus Terminal, describing it as "my territory where I've been shopping for about 20 years." She added, "The lighting in the underground mall makes it quite warm, so it's best to dress lightly and always carry a bag," showcasing her expertise.
Song Ga-in also revealed her unique shopping strategy, saying, "I first do a round of window shopping and then buy from the cheapest store. I also carry cash just in case. With about 100,000 won, I can buy enough to fill both hands. I'm good at finding great deals."
The production team set a rule where Song Ga-in had to draw a random envelope containing 50,000, 100,000, or 200,000 won, and shop within that budget. She drew 100,000 won and expressed slight disappointment.
While enjoying her shopping trip, Song Ga-in reminisced, "I used to buy a lot of accessories here during my unknown days." She added, "I want to buy everything that's pretty. I like simple and neat styles, as well as cute and charming ones. I don't like sexy styles."
Fans were thrilled to see Song Ga-in in person, commenting on her beauty and requesting photos. As the crowd grew, she graciously interacted with fans before moving to a safer location. Even through a glass window, she responded to photo requests with a smile.
Despite the bustling crowd, Song Ga-in remained cheerful and greeted fans warmly. When asked by staff if she felt stressed, she confidently replied, "It's a happy and grateful thing. I'd be disappointed if no one recognized me."
Song Ga-in, who boasts a slim figure at 44kg, confidently purchased clothes without trying them on, simply confirming, "Is this a small size?" She paid in cash without hesitation, saying, "If it's small, it fits. If it's big, I'll alter it; if it's small, I'll stretch it."
Interestingly, while Song Ga-in gifted luxury items to staff for birthdays, she opted for budget-friendly clothing for herself, such as a 29,000 won dress and 6,000 won fleece leggings.
