Comedian Park Jun-hyung revealed that he was able to purchase a 70-pyeong apartment during his peak career days through event appearances.
On the October 13th episode of MBN's 'Dongchimi', Park Jun-hyung shared insights into his career.
During the show, Park stated, "You can gauge a comedian's popularity by the number of events on Children's Day." He reminisced, "I attended numerous events during that time. I left home on May 1st and returned on the 9th, traveling across the country for various events."
When fellow guest No Sa-yeon asked about his earnings during that period, Park surprised everyone by saying, "I bought a 70-pyeong apartment in Bangbae-dong without a loan."
Despite feeling the height of his popularity, Park expressed regret as a father, saying, "I felt sorry because I couldn't spend Children's Day with my daughter. I promised her that our Children's Day would be on May 6th because daddy had to work."
He continued, "It felt like it would last forever, but suddenly, on May 5th, the events stopped. The feeling of uncertainty was overwhelming," adding that he recently enjoyed participating in a Children's Day event again.
Meanwhile, Park Jun-hyung married fellow comedian Kim Ji-hye in 2005, and they have two daughters. In October last year, his wife announced their second daughter's acceptance into Sunhwa Arts School, followed by news in November of their eldest daughter's acceptance into Kyung Hee University, garnering much attention.
