Professor Lee Ho-sun was left astonished by the 'ailing couple's' family drawings.
On the October 11th episode of JTBC's 'Divorce Deliberation Camp,' the psychological counseling and psychodrama therapy sessions of a couple dealing with illness were revealed.
During the episode, the daily life of the husband from the 'ailing couple' was showcased. Despite juggling childcare, household chores, and night shifts, he managed his day without a break. Even after returning home at dawn with only 1.5 hours of sleep, he took care of the children. Observing this, MC Seo Jang-hoon remarked, "He's not a bad dad," expressing his amazement.
During the couple's psychological counseling, Lee Ho-sun suggested, "Let's draw a picture of your family," and upon receiving the couple's drawings, she commented, "They are artistic. The whole family is smiling. Interestingly, the wife's drawing includes the brother-in-law, while the husband's does not. I never asked them to draw the brother, yet he's already part of the family," highlighting the emotional impact of the wife's inclusion of her brother-in-law.
Lee Ho-sun further noted, "The wife drew her husband the largest and first. The entire family is holding hands. It's a good family. I haven't seen such expressions from families on 'Divorce Deliberation Camp' in years. This should be framed. I hope they find happiness. Let's have a meal together once everyone is well," offering warm encouragement.
After the counseling session, the husband shared with his brother, "When I came to the set, there was a drawing test, and my wife included you in her family drawing. No one told her to, and it wasn't scripted. Treat her well," conveying his heartfelt message about the drawing his wife created.
