Kim Se-jeong's Emotional Revelation Shocks Viewers in 'Moon River'
Kim Se-jeong delivered a tearful and shocking ending as she regained her memories.

In the 10th episode of MBC's 'Moon River' (directed by Lee Dong-hyun, written by Jo Seung-hee), which aired last night at 9:40 PM, Park Dal-i (played by Kim Se-jeong) was seen shedding tears as she regained her lost memories.

During the episode, Park Dal-i fully recovered her memories as Crown Princess Kang Yeon-wol, marking a thrilling turning point in the drama.

Lee Kang discovered the connection between Jimjo and Left State Councilor Kim Han-cheol (played by Jin Goo) and imprisoned Kim Han-cheol for treason. With Kim Han-cheol behind bars, Lee Woon (played by Lee Sin-young) and Kim Woo-hee (played by Hong Su-zu) fled the palace, seemingly restoring peace. However, King Lee Hee (played by Kim Nam-hee) shocked everyone by releasing Kim Han-cheol from prison. Kim Han-cheol then appeared before Lee Kang, leaving him bewildered.

Lee Kang questioned King Lee Hee about the reason for releasing Kim Han-cheol. Lee Hee revealed the truth about the Gyesa Year incident, which he had kept buried in his heart. He confessed that Kim Han-cheol, who had killed the former king and the crown prince, had blackmailed him into joining a baseless coup to ascend the throne, subsequently manipulating the king at will.

Upon learning the truth, Lee Kang was overwhelmed with despair and guilt, shedding tears. He confronted Kim Han-cheol, saying, "Isn't it unfair to target family? Targeting the king is treason, so back off." Kim Han-cheol retorted, "I can't tolerate my own thing daring to point a blade at me."

Subsequently, Park Dal-i comforted the despondent Lee Kang, offering him strength. She warmly reassured him, "You've done well, you've endured a lot," to which Lee Kang responded, "This is just the beginning. We must expose the evil deeds of the Left State Councilor." Determined, Lee Kang vowed to uncover Kim Han-cheol's misdeeds, including the false accusations against Park Dal-i, and pleaded with King Lee Hee, "Your Majesty must make a decision. If you don't protect me, I will perish."

However, King Lee Hee, unwilling to witness Lee Kang's downfall, made another cowardly choice. He met with Park Hong-nan (played by Park Ah-in), who had been hiding Park Dal-i as the deceased Crown Princess Kang Yeon-wol, and planned to disguise Park Dal-i as dead and send her to Qing China.

Unaware of these plans, Park Dal-i was delighted by King Lee Hee's promise to provide a place for her family and headed to Unjeong Palace, where Lee Kang and Kang Yeon-wol had once stayed. Overwhelmed by memories, Park Dal-i finally recalled the incident where she nearly drowned, her fabricated death orchestrated by the Left State Councilor, and the secret of her dethronement. With tears in her eyes, she confronted Park Hong-nan, saying, "Hong-nan, why did you deceive me?" expressing her complex emotions.
