Korean trot singer Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer people want to go on a sauna date with this winter.
From November 24 to 30, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to go on a sauna date with this winter?'
Kim Eui-young claimed the top spot. She made her official debut as a trot singer after finishing in the top 5 on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. On November 24, she reinterpreted Lee Mi-ja's 'A Woman's Life'（여자의 일생） on KBS1's 'Music Stage.' In May, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1,' produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want'（하고 싶은 거 다 해） is a bright and cheerful dance trot song that showcases Kim Eui-young's refreshing charm.
Singer Jeon Yu-jin came in second. On November 29, she performed her new song 'Childlike Slumber' on MBC's 'Show! Music Core.' She appeared on stage in a black mini dress paired with long boots, exuding both maturity and loveliness. 'Childlike Slumber' is her first new song in about 10 months since her mini-album 'Only You' released last December, and it captures the poignant emotions felt from seeing her mother's diminishing figure over time.
Singer Kim Yang secured the third spot. On November 2, she shared her family story on KBS2's 'Fun-Staurant.' Kim Yang revealed, 'Things have improved a lot lately. My father passed away last year. After saying goodbye to him, I realized the importance of the videos I had taken of my parents. Those videos are now incredibly precious to me, allowing me to hear their voices while they were alive, which makes me so grateful and happy.'
Currently, on the Top Ten TENASIA website(topten.tenasia.com）, polls are being conducted with themes such as 'Which male singer would you like to walk with, hands in coat pockets, this cold winter?' and 'Which female trot singer would you like to walk with, hands in coat pockets, this cold winter?' among others.
