K-pop sensation i-dle took home the 'Fans' Choice' award at the 2025 MAMA Awards.
The prestigious event was held on November 28 at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.
The final 'Fans' Choice Female Top 10' award of the night was claimed by i-dle. Member Yuqi expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much. We will continue to work hard and repay you with even better performances."
Just days before the event, on November 26, a massive fire broke out in a residential high-rise complex in the Tai Po district of northern Hong Kong. Yuqi addressed the tragedy, stating, "I took the stage with a heavy heart today. My deepest condolences to all those affected by the incident. I hope the injured recover quickly and the bereaved families find strength. If we have the means, we would like to help them."
Soyeon shared, "It's an honor to receive this award in Hong Kong, but my heart feels heavy. Many are still experiencing great sorrow, and I pray for peace to return to Hong Kong soon. I hope our thoughts can offer some comfort."
Member Minnie added, "It's an honor to receive this award in Hong Kong. We hope to provide strength to those going through difficult times."
