Actor Shim Hyung-tak's son, Haru, has made his debut as a commercial model at just 9 months old.
On the October 26th episode of KBS2TV's 'The Return of Superman,' Shim Hyung-tak shared updates about his son Haru.
During the broadcast, Shim Hyung-tak revealed, "We are at Haru's commercial shoot," announcing that his son was filming his first advertisement. Haru's exceptional visuals have garnered over 4 million views on 'The Return of Superman's YouTube channel, ranking 4th in entertainment buzz for 2025.
Shim Hyung-tak expressed his amazement, saying, "It's incredible that Haru is doing this. I shot my first commercial at 27, and Haru is doing it before he's even a year old."
Despite the unfamiliar setting, Haru maintained a cheerful demeanor throughout the shoot, creating a warm atmosphere. Watching proudly, Shim Hyung-tak remarked, "He's only 9 months old, and there's already a hair stylist for him?" The production team also noted, "This is a first for us."
In the studio, MC Lala praised Haru, saying, "He's so adorable, and it's like a pleasant fragrance is emanating from him." Haru's babbling upon seeing his father brought laughter to the set.
Meanwhile, according to the advertising industry, Haru has signed six contracts for baby products and children's clothing over the past three months, with total earnings exceeding 500 million won (approximately $420,000).
