SEVENTEEN Collaborates with The Smurfs for a Unique Music Video Experience
The collaboration between K-pop group SEVENTEEN and the globally beloved characters, The Smurfs, was unveiled on October 25th at 11 PM. Peyo Company, the rights holder of The Smurfs, has creatively integrated the Smurf characters into SEVENTEEN's original music video for 'God of Music'.

Set against the backdrop of Budapest, Hungary, the music video features iconic Smurf characters like Papa Smurf, Smurfette, and Clumsy Smurf dancing alongside SEVENTEEN members to the 'God of Music' choreography. Towards the end, new Smurf characters inspired by the 13 members of SEVENTEEN make an appearance, adding a unique twist to the video.

This collaboration was inspired by the coinciding release date of 'God of Music' and The Smurfs' anniversary on October 23rd. Additionally, a line of collaborative merchandise is set to launch in 2026.

Veronique Culliford, the head of Peyo Company and daughter of the original creator, expressed that the collaboration embodies the core values of joy and friendship, and that her father would have been proud of the partnership with SEVENTEEN.

In other news, SEVENTEEN recently achieved their 17th song to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify with 'Hurricane' from their 4th studio album. Starting October 27th, they will embark on their 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN JAPAN', performing in Japan's four major domes.
