Kim Yoon-bae Emerges as the Weekend Star with Dual Roles in JTBC and MBC Dramas

Actor Kim Yoon-bae has become the man of the weekend.

On September 25th, Kim Yoon-bae joined the cast of JTBC's 'The Story of Manager Kim Who Works at a Major Company in Seoul' as 'Dal-jae,' a production worker at the ACT Asan factory where Kim Nak-soo (played by Ryu Seung-ryong) is transferred. Alongside Lee Joo-young (played by Jung Eun-chae), he is wary of Kim Nak-soo but excels in his duties, proving to be a reliable team member.

Kim Yoon-bae is also making waves in MBC's 'The Moon Flows Over This River,' a historical fantasy romance drama about a crown prince who has lost his smile and a peddler who has lost his memory. In the series, Kim plays 'Cha Eun-woo,' a servant of the Hanyang merchant guild. His captivating presence and unique charm have made him a scene-stealer, providing comic relief with his striking name and less-than-perfect visuals.

Through these two projects, Kim Yoon-bae has become a staple of weekend entertainment, bringing his unique flair to each character. Transitioning seamlessly from a factory worker's helmet to a traditional Korean hat, he showcases his versatility in both modern and historical dramas, solidifying his status as the man of the weekend.

As the weekend star of the latter half of this year, Kim Yoon-bae is set to have his busiest year yet, with multiple film and drama projects lined up for 2026.
