From November 10 to 16, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to go leaf-peeping with this fall?'
Kim Eui-young claimed the top spot. She began her trot singing career in earnest after finishing in the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May, she released her fourth single album 'STARTrot PART.1', produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track, 'Do Whatever You Want'(하고 싶은 거 다 해), is an upbeat dance trot song that highlights Kim Eui-young's unique bright and refreshing energy.
Jeon Yu-jin took second place. On November 13, her official YouTube channel released a behind-the-scenes video of her music show activities for her single 'Childlike Slumber', which was released on October 23. The video showcases Jeon Yu-jin's busy schedule following the release of her new song. She began her music show activities with a performance on 'Open Concert'. After the shoot, Jeon Yu-jin shared, “I was so nervous that I could hear my heartbeat during rehearsals, but I think I managed to perform boldly for my first stage.” She added, “I will continue to show more mature emotions and improved performances every time I sing 'Childlike Slumber'.”
Kim Da-hyun secured third place. On November 4, Paju City announced that trot singer Kim Da-hyun has been appointed as an ambassador to promote the city's key policies and cultural and tourism activities for the next two years. Actively working between Korea and Japan, Kim Da-hyun is also known as the youngest daughter of Kim Bong-gon, the 'Cheonghak-dong Master'. Debuting in 2019 with '꽃처녀', she is both a trot singer and a traditional Korean musician, having learned pansori from the age of four and excelling in various competitions. She entered the trot scene at six and was the runner-up on MBN's 'Voice Trot' in fifth grade, later placing third on 'Miss Trot 2'.
