Singer Jin Hae-sung appeared unedited on the 'Korean-Japanese Top Ten Show' despite losing a lawsuit related to school violence allegations.
The 69th episode of MBN's 'Korean-Japanese Top Ten Show,' aired on the 18th, featured a 'War of the Gods' special, showcasing top talents in their respective fields. Musical stars Kim So-hyun, Son Jun-ho, and Michael Lee, along with jazz artist Jo Jazz, were among the participants, promising an intense showdown.
The first segment, titled 'Battle of the Enigmatic Gods,' saw Jin Hae-sung, Jo Jazz, and Masaya compete. Jin Hae-sung, who performed 'Night Train,' remarked, "Every time I open my mouth, it's enchanting. Dahyun likes me. I guess my style appeals to the MZ generation."
Jo Jazz captivated everyone with his irresistible voice while performing 'Love.' Masaya showcased his emotional prowess by singing the iconic ballad 'I Miss You,' asserting his presence as a sentimental god.
After all performances concluded, Jin Hae-sung commented, "I was just an invited singer," expressing his lack of confidence by saying, "The saying 'when whales fight, the shrimp's back gets broken' exists for a reason." Ultimately, Masaya emerged victorious.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Jin Hae-sung lost a 10 million won damages lawsuit against the individual who accused him of school violence, known as A. Jin Hae-sung's defamation lawsuit against A was also dismissed.
On the 18th, Jin Hae-sung stated, "I initially won a provisional injunction in the civil lawsuit," and expressed his feelings about the outcome, saying, "I respect the court's decision, but I am honestly disappointed." He further explained, "The reason for not appealing is that the lawsuit was not about receiving damages but to stop the other party's actions and prevent further controversy."
