Former Pentagon member Hui has signed an exclusive contract with Withus Entertainment.
On the 17th, Withus Entertainment announced, "We have recently signed an exclusive contract with Hui and plan to fully support him in strengthening his identity as a solo musician and producer." Since his debut, Hui has been leading the production process beyond just vocals and stage performances, raising expectations for his future endeavors with his new agency.
Hui debuted in 2016 as the leader of the group Pentagon and expanded his activities as a singer-songwriter and producer. He solidified his position as a composer by creating numerous hit K-pop songs, including Pentagon's representative tracks and Wanna One's 'Energetic' and 'NEVER.' He is recognized as a versatile artist with musicality and talent among global fandoms.
Last year, Hui released his solo album 'WHU IS ME: Complex,' showcasing his ability to handle various genres such as pop, ballad, R&B, and trot, based on lyrical sensibility. He proved his solid musical identity and strengthened his presence as a solo artist.
Marking his 10th year since debut, Hui chose Withus as his partner to design the direction of his growth. Withus plans to pursue various collaborations to deepen Hui's musical spectrum. Hui also plans to participate directly in the music projects of other artists within the agency to create synergy.
Withus Entertainment is a comprehensive entertainment company that pursues 'togetherness' through good music, with artists like Apink's Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Kim Nam-joo, Oh Ha-young, Mamamoo's Wheein, and the rookie boy group The Wind. Hui's addition has further strengthened their music lineup.
