Actor Song Jin-woo is set to join MBN's new volleyball variety show.
According to a report by TenAsia on the 14th, Song Jin-woo will appear in MBN's new sports variety show 'Spike War,' which premieres on the 30th. 'Spike War' will showcase a volleyball battle among stars on an 18X9m court. The show is being launched to commemorate the 20th anniversary of professional volleyball.
Volleyball legends Kim Se-jin, Shin Jin-sik, and Kim Yo-han have come together to form South Korea's first celebrity volleyball team. These V-League legends return to the court not as players but as team managers and coaches.
The volleyball team will be co-ed, featuring not only Song Jin-woo but also trot singer Shin Sung and Brown Eyed Girls' Narsha. Shin Jin-sik and Kim Yo-han, serving as team leaders, will scout hidden talents in the entertainment industry with a knack for volleyball. Anticipation is high for which star players will emerge.
