Lee Junho's Quick Thinking Shines in 'Typhoon Company' Episode 9
Lee Junho's quick thinking left viewers in awe.

In the 9th episode of tvN's 'Typhoon Company' (directed by Lee Na-jung, Kim Dong-hwi, written by Jang Hyun), aired on the night of the 8th, Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Junho) and Oh Mi-sun (played by Kim Min-ha) were depicted standing in a Thai courtroom to save Go Ma-jin (played by Lee Chang-hoon).

During the episode, Kang Tae-poong, Oh Mi-sun, and Go Ma-jin found themselves in a predicament when a $50 tip given at Thai customs was mistaken for a $10,000 bribe. Kang Tae-poong sought forgiveness from a wealthy woman and asked for another chance, but was rejected. Feeling the urgency, Oh Mi-sun encouraged Kang Tae-poong, saying, "The boss seems to like you, so go do what you do best," referencing his past actions towards her by suggesting he compliment her and write a wish on her hand.

Annoyed, Kang Tae-poong retorted, "I don't just call anyone pretty. Please respect my feelings." When Oh Mi-sun lamented that being away from her family made business trips feel like a relief, Kang Tae-poong responded, "That's mean," but added, "But I like that about you." He continued, "How can someone be nice all the time? You're the coolest and prettiest person I've ever met," offering sincere comfort and a confession. As Kang Tae-poong leaned in for a kiss, Oh Mi-sun pushed him away, saying, "This isn't the time for this," and asked him not to look at her so closely.

Meanwhile, Go Ma-jin found himself in court after a $50 lunch tip at Thai customs was mistaken for a $10,000 bribe. He protested, "I don't have that kind of money," and questioned how he could prove his poverty.

Kang Tae-poong quickly argued, "$10,000 is much more than the helmets we brought are worth," and submitted import declarations, estimates, and contracts as evidence. When the court noted the evidence was not direct, Oh Mi-sun arrived with only the film, having dropped the photos under a bridge.

As Oh Mi-sun repeatedly apologized and blamed herself, Kang Tae-poong reassured her, "Are you okay? You did well," showing concern for her well-being first. He then cleverly used an emergency flashlight to project the film onto the courtroom wall, clearly displaying the scene where Go Ma-jin handed over the money. This highlighted that the alleged bribe took place during the day, indirectly proving it couldn't have been $10,000. Kang Tae-poong's quick thinking turned Oh Mi-sun's mistake into a pivotal moment, clearing Go Ma-jin's name and showcasing his impressive problem-solving skills.
