Actress Lee Min-jung has spoken out following her husband Lee Byung-hun's recent revelations.
On October 4, Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' featured a video titled 'What Should the Lee Family Eat for Dinner? A Full Disclosure of the Korean Dinner Table for the Family.'
In the video, Lee Min-jung shared her 'Home-cooked Dinner with Teacher Lee' segment, revealing, "My husband couldn't eat Korean food while in Venice. After returning, he immediately went to host the Busan International Film Festival, so it's been a while since he had a home-cooked meal. I've also taken a long break."
While cooking, Lee Min-jung noted, "Dishes like curry, chicken stew, kimchi stew, and braised short ribs taste better the next day as they need time to absorb the seasoning. Since my husband will arrive around 10 PM, it would be better for his health to eat it in the morning when it's more delicious."
Previously, Lee Byung-hun had jokingly claimed, "When Lee Min-jung gets angry, I'm left covered in blood." In response, Lee Min-jung clarified, "I don't get angry to the point of leaving him covered in blood. It happens about once a year."
She further explained, "Even when I'm angry, I speak calmly and rationally. If I were that kind of person, how could he live with me?" expressing her frustration.
Lee Min-jung shared that her favorite YouTube content features her son, Jun-hoo, saying, "I thought he would be shy in front of the camera, but he was quite cheeky and skillful. He even said, 'I think people want to see me,'" she laughed.
Reflecting on her newlywed days, Lee Min-jung mentioned that she lost weight because she couldn't eat her own cooking well. She humorously added, "I'll continue to prepare the Korean dishes my husband wants to eat with care. Where else can you find a wife like this? The anger is real," once again playfully blaming Lee Byung-hun, bringing laughter.
