Jang Seung-jo Joins Cast of SBS Drama 'Brave New World'

Actor Jang Seung-jo, who married Lina from the group The Grace in 2014, has confirmed his role in the upcoming SBS drama 'Brave New World'.

Jang Seung-jo will star in the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Brave New World' (directed by Han Tae-seop, written by Kang Hyun-joo). The drama tells the story of a 'hate relationship' romance between the notorious Joseon villainess 'Shin Se-ri' (played by Lim Ji-yeon) and the ruthless Korean conglomerate heir 'Cha Se-gye' (played by Heo Nam-joon).

In the drama, Jang Seung-jo takes on the role of 'Choi Moon-do', the president of Chail Construction, a key subsidiary of the Chail Group. Choi Moon-do is the ambitious cousin of Cha Se-gye, known for his exceptional abilities, interpersonal skills, and public image.

Jang Seung-jo has previously received acclaim for his stable acting skills and delicate emotional portrayals, creating unique characters in each of his projects. Notably, in last year's drama 'Let's Grab the Collar', he played the role of Seol Woo-jae, a famous novelist and second-generation chaebol, seamlessly transitioning between warmth and darkness, enhancing the drama's immersion and thrilling elements, earning praise from viewers. Jang Seung-jo gained attention from his role in the MBC drama 'Money Flower', and his portrayal of an ambitious character is once again highly anticipated.
