Lee Young-ae and Bae Soo-bin shared a tearful conversation.
In the 11th episode of KBS2TV's 'Eunsoo's Good Day' (directed by Song Hyun-wook, written by Jeon Young-shin), which aired on the 25th at 9:20 PM, the emotional exchange between Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae) and Park Do-jin (played by Bae Soo-bin) was depicted.
During the episode, Kang Eun-soo expressed her concerns to Park Do-jin, saying, "What if we get caught together? You and Park Soo-ah (played by Kim Si-ah) might not be able to leave the country." She suggested, "Go ahead with Park Soo-ah, and I'll follow as soon as things settle down."
However, Park Do-jin was adamant, responding, "I'm not leaving without you. Do you expect me to live off the money made by selling you out? I'd rather die than do that." To this, Kang Eun-soo retorted, "Why are you saying such things? I've done everything to save you, and now you're saying this?"
In tears, Park Do-jin replied, "That's exactly why. Do you think I wanted to live like this, making you suffer? I find myself despicable." He continued, "If only I had died on the hospital rooftop back then, things wouldn't have turned out this way."
Kang Eun-soo, also in tears, reassured him, "That's not true. I need you." She added, "I can't bear the thought of you disappearing from my life. We deserve to be a little selfish, don't we? That's why I'm doing this."
Kang Eun-soo continued, "I've lived without greed all my life, but can't we at least have you, Park Soo-ah, and our home?" In response, Park Do-jin suggested, "Let's just leave everything behind." However, Kang Eun-soo countered, "Don't say such nonsense. What about your medical expenses? How will we live there? We need at least this much money." Park Do-jin insisted, "We don't need it. We've lived well so far. Let's leave everything behind and pay for our sins."
