The group, consisting of members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, received the prestigious award at the '2025 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards' held at the National Theater of Korea in Seoul on the 23rd. This award, now in its 16th year, is the highest government accolade recognizing individuals and professionals who have contributed to the development of popular culture and arts in South Korea.
Through their agency, Source Music, LE SSERAFIM expressed their gratitude, stating, "We are honored to receive such a meaningful award from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. We believe this recognition is thanks to everyone who loves our music and performances." They added, "Coincidentally, we are making a comeback with our first single album 'SPAGHETTI' on the 24th, and this award feels like encouragement to work even harder. We will continue to contribute to the development of popular culture with great music and performances."
LE SSERAFIM recently concluded their first world tour, '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT',' and are set to hold encore concerts at the Tokyo Dome on November 18-19. The tour, which began in Korea last April, included 27 performances across 18 cities in Japan, Asia, and North America. The enthusiastic response from local audiences, who sang along to Korean lyrics, reaffirmed the global popularity of K-pop. Notably, LE SSERAFIM became the first K-pop girl group to appear on NBC's 'America's Got Talent' and collaborated with global company Amazon Music for an offline pop-up event.
On October 24th at 1 PM, LE SSERAFIM will release their first single album 'SPAGHETTI'. The album includes two tracks: the title track 'SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)' and 'Pearlies (My oyster is the world)'. The title track, featuring BTS's j-hope, has already heightened anticipation with its catchy melody and fun choreography, as teased in the music video preview released on the 22nd.
