Comedian Lee Guk-joo Shares Weight Loss Journey and Life in Tokyo

Comedian Lee Guk-joo recently shared updates about her life in Tokyo.

On the 24th, the joint production of MBN, Channel S, and SK Broadband, the real street food documentary 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3,' featured Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) visiting a 35-year-old famous chicken stew restaurant in Iksan with Lee Guk-joo and Park Kwang-jae.

During the broadcast, Jeon Hyun-moo asked Lee Guk-joo, who is currently living in Tokyo, "How much udon and ramen do you eat in Japan?" Lee Guk-joo responded, "When I'm in Japan, I walk a lot, don't drink alcohol, and only eat what's necessary for filming. So, I lose about 4kg in ten days."

Park Kwang-jae, upon hearing this, skeptically remarked, "You lose 4kg? Isn't that just from going to the bathroom once?" Lee Guk-joo added, "When I come back to Korea, I gain 6kg. I gain it back because I meet people and drink."

Jeon Hyun-moo also asked Lee Guk-joo why she decided to live in Tokyo. She explained, "When I'm in Korea, some people ask, 'Why are you here?' There are times when work decreases in broadcasting. During those breaks, I'm not the type to just rest."

She continued, "I need to learn or do something, but going on a trip to Japan felt uneasy because work was decreasing. So, I thought, 'Why not try something in Japan?' I started filming videos, and the first one did really well. Thanks to that, I have a lot of work now and often come to Korea."

Meanwhile, Lee Guk-joo has been garnering attention for starting her life in a 9-pyeong studio apartment in Tokyo since April, as shared on her YouTube channel.
