Hwasa brings laughter as she humorously abandons her diet ahead of her comeback.
On the YouTube channel 'Gwang Series' by Kani, a video titled 'After the Threatening Flirting (Hwasa's New Song Choreography by Kani)' was uploaded.
In the video, Kani and Hwasa visit a restaurant to enjoy soy sauce marinated crab. Hwasa had previously showcased her love for this dish on MBC's 'I Live Alone,' where her mukbang became a sensation.
Upon seeing the glistening soy sauce crab, Hwasa exclaimed in delight. Kani mentioned, "I've watched your soy sauce crab mukbang video so many times." Hwasa responded, "I really love it, but I haven't shot the music video yet. It's about 3-4 days away, so I'm on a strict diet."
Hwasa then joked, "So today, I might not take just a small bite," and laughed. Kani asked, "Are you dieting these days?" Hwasa replied, "I'm really working hard. It's only been a month since I started, but I can't perform well on stage if I'm too thin."
Hwasa continued, "When I'm too thin, I feel like I don't have my usual strength, so I try to maintain muscle mass. Having some weight helps with dancing." She added, "But this time, since it's a breakup song, I wanted to try a slender figure, which I've never had before, so I'm on a strict diet."
Kani commented, "I was surprised at how slender you looked when I first saw you," and asked about her diet. Hwasa shared that she changed her diet and exercise routine, switching from muscle-building workouts to running. The soy sauce crab mukbang then began in earnest. Watching Kani enjoy the crab, Hwasa eventually said, "Maybe I'll just have one bite. It's been years since I had soy sauce crab," and took a bite.
Hwasa's eyes lit up as she savored the crab, diving into a mukbang frenzy. She even mixed rice with the crab shell, adding sesame oil for extra flavor. Kani laughed, saying, "It's a cheat day today, so it's okay."
Earlier in 2023, rumors surfaced about Hwasa dating a businessman 12 years her senior for five years, but her agency remained silent, citing "privacy concerns."
Meanwhile, Hwasa made her comeback on October 15 with the new song 'Good Goodbye,' in which she participated in writing and composing, enhancing the song's quality.
