The once peaceful village of Muchang is now overshadowed by a sense of impending danger as an unknown assailant openly attacks Kim Young-ran.

Jeon Dong-min (played by Jin-young) steps up as an ally, gathering information to find the culprit targeting Kim Young-ran and requesting increased patrols in the village. Despite the tense situation, Jeon Dong-min reassures Kim Young-ran that he will always be there for her, bringing a moment of warmth and a smile to her face.

As the village is stirred by the arrival of outsiders, Lee Don (played by Seo Hyun-woo) is on a mission to find the missing Ga Sun-woo (played by Lee Chang-min). Ga Sun-woo holds evidence that could prove Ga Sun-young's involvement in the death of Ga Ye-rim (played by Lee Da-eun), the daughter of Chairman Ga Sung-ho (played by Moon Sung-geun). As Kim Young-ran panics at the sight of her bloodied friend, Gil Ho-se points a gun at her head, his menacing expression heightening the tension.
