Lee Jang-woo has announced that he postponed his wedding plans.
On the October 19th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' Yoon Shi-yoon celebrated his birthday with Lee Jang-woo and Jung Joon-ha on a rooftop.
Lee Jang-woo is set to marry actress Jo Hye-won on November 23rd. The couple met in 2018 while working on the drama 'My Only One.' The wedding will feature Kian84 as the host, with Lee's cousin Hwanhee performing the congratulatory song, and Jun Hyun-moo officiating.
Previously, at the '2023 MBC Entertainment Awards,' Lee Jang-woo mentioned in his acceptance speech for the Top Excellence Award, "I think I need to postpone the wedding a bit. Can I continue on 'I Live Alone' for a little longer? I love you so much."
During the show, Jung Joon-ha jokingly scolded Lee, saying, "What kind of proposal is that?" Yoon Shi-yoon chimed in, asking, "Are you in your right mind?" Lee Jang-woo explained, "We were supposed to get married last year, but after visiting my future mother-in-law, I asked if we could wait another year. Thankfully, she agreed."
Lee Jang-woo also shared how he and Jo Hye-won became a couple. He recalled, "When Jo Hye-won, a supporting actress, appeared, she shone. She's 174cm tall, and over 180cm in heels. I wondered, 'Who could her boyfriend be?'"
He continued, "I decided to make a move and asked for her contact information. But since she was a supporting actress, she left after filming. I reached out via social media, thanking her for appearing in our drama and asked if she had a boyfriend, as I wanted to treat her to a meal. I didn't want to do anything unnecessary if she had a boyfriend."
Two days later, Lee received a reply. "She thought I was a fake and asked if I was real, saying she didn't have a boyfriend. I immediately gave her my phone number, and we later met for a meal at a café in Namyangju."
