Bada and Eugene from the iconic K-pop group S.E.S. recently shared their thoughts on a potential group reunion.
On the Channel A show 'Best Friends Documentary: Table for 4,' which aired on the 20th, Bada was joined by her close friends Eugene, Brian, and host Park Kyung-lim.
During the episode, Bada affectionately referred to Brian as her 'ex' and reminisced about the time he confessed his feelings for her by saying "I LIKE YOU" on the stairs of SM Entertainment.
Bada admitted she was confused at the time and sought advice from Eugene, who recalled Bada asking, "What's the difference between 'like' and 'love'?" Eventually, Bada responded with a strong "I LOVE YOU TOO."
Brian jokingly complained, "Why are you playing with me?" while Eugene opposed their relationship, unlike Hwanhee, who supported it. Bada humorously noted, "Eugene broke the bridge," referring to Eugene's disapproval. Brian also recalled a moment during an SM Town shoot when someone loudly announced his feelings for Bada, causing laughter.
Bada and Eugene also shared their first impressions of each other. Eugene remembered seeing Bada in a modified school uniform and thinking she might be a rebel, only to realize it was Shoo with the bold hairstyle and red lipstick. Eugene admitted both were stunning.
Bada acknowledged Eugene's beauty, saying, "I thought I was the center because Lee Soo-man said I was the lead vocal leader, but seeing Eugene, I realized I wasn't the center." She also praised Shoo's femininity and gentle nature, expressing affection for the youngest member.
Bada shared a nostalgic memory with Shoo, addressing recent rumors of discord. She recounted an incident in 1999 when Shoo bought luxury shoes, which Bada's dog chewed up, prompting her to replace them. Bada humorously noted Shoo's penchant for high-end fashion.
With first-generation idols like H.O.T. and god reuniting, fans are eager for an S.E.S. comeback. The group, which debuted in 1997 and disbanded after five years, will celebrate their 30th anniversary in two years.
Bada stated, "There are no immediate plans. We're waiting for Shoo to feel comfortable. Fans and everyone involved are waiting for the right moment."
