Jay Park Apologizes for Performance at Breast Cancer Awareness Event

Jay Park has issued an apology following his performance of 'MOMMAE' at a breast cancer awareness campaign.

On the 16th, Jay Park took to his social media to explain, "After the official breast cancer campaign event, I understood the party and performance as something for those gathered with good intentions, so I performed as I usually do."

He continued, "If any cancer patients felt uncomfortable or offended by my performance, I sincerely apologize. I wish you all good health. Stay strong."

He added, "I performed at the Busan event with good intentions and without pay. Please do not misuse these good intentions. This is a request to those who only want to create issues from actions done with good intentions. Please do not misunderstand."

Previously, Jay Park performed 'MOMMAE' while using crutches. The song's lyrics, which describe body parts, were deemed inappropriate for the event, leading to criticism.
