Lee Moo-jin recently shared a humorous story about being mistaken for a member of the band Jannabi, capturing the audience's attention.
On the October 11th episode of KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs', a special dedicated to artist Park Jung-hyun featured performances by Lee Moo-jin, ONEWE, Hynn (Park Hye-won), Forte di Quattro, Sandeul and Lim Kyu-hyung, and Jung Joon-il with Solji.
The episode kicked off with Sandeul and Lim Kyu-hyung taking the stage first. Jung Joon-il expressed his excitement with a standing ovation, saying, "With this combination, it's already over." Lim Kyu-hyung remarked, "It's unbelievable," while Sandeul confidently added, "Kyu-hyung sings so well, I'm at ease today."
The duo chose Park Jung-hyun's 'In Dreams', aiming for an all-kill with their powerful emotions and delicate harmonies that captivated the audience. Jung Joon-il was so immersed that he felt apologetic for clapping, while Hynn praised them, saying, "I was so absorbed, I don't think I can go next."
ONEWE shared a funny episode from their overseas tour. Dongmyeong revealed, "While eating tofu stew in LA's Koreatown, the staff showed interest, and Yonghoon asked if they watched 'Immortal Songs'." Yonghoon humorously added, "I showed them directly, I'm the 'Immortal Songs' ambassador."
Yonghoon also shared a taxi story, "The driver asked if I was a singer because of my makeup. He said he doesn't watch TV much, but when I mentioned 'Immortal Songs', he said he'd skip work to watch it."
Lee Moo-jin continued with his 'embarrassing memory'. He recounted, "I went to a seafood restaurant where my friend works, and the ladies at the next table suddenly lowered their voices. I thought they recognized me." However, one of them asked, "Wait, aren't you Jannabi?" revealing they mistook him for Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon. Lee Moo-jin humorously admitted he just went along with it. Yonghoon responded wittily, "That's why I always show them first."
