Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae was taken aback by the resemblance of actress Lee Min-jung's daughter.
On October 9th, the YouTube channel 'Son Yeon-jae sonyeonjae' released a video titled 'Sorry Husband, I'm Excited Again. Day Drinking Date with MJ Unnie♥.' Actress Lee Min-jung appeared as a guest, engaging in candid conversations with Son Yeon-jae.
In the video, Son Yeon-jae remarked, "Min-jung unnie has the best stamina among my acquaintances," to which the production team asked, "Isn't it physically demanding with a son?" Lee Min-jung responded, "A daughter is challenging in a different way." She explained, "With a son, it's physically tiring chasing after him, but with a daughter, it's emotionally challenging, like deciding whether to console her or set boundaries."
Lee Min-jung humorously added, "When you say 'no' to a son, he understands immediately, but a daughter reacts dramatically." She shared parenting tips, saying, "With boys, you have to be firm and brief. Don't scold them in front of friends as it hurts their pride." She added, "I call my son into the room, and he gets tense from that moment."
When Son Yeon-jae asked, "What if your second child is a daughter?" Lee Min-jung laughed, "Then you're done for. You'll realize how easy a son was." Son Yeon-jae joked, "With your strong voice, Jun-hoo would quiet down immediately."
Lee Min-jung also shared anecdotes about her daughter Seo-yi, offering parenting advice. She said, "As a professor on 'You Quiz' mentioned, children are the most precious guests in our home. They will leave someday, so mothers shouldn't hesitate." She showed a photo on her phone, saying, "I showed this picture to Seo-yi, and she kept saying 'Seo-yi, Seo-yi.' I told her, 'No, it's mommy,' but she insisted it wasn't."
Son Yeon-jae marveled, "She looks just like you," to which Lee Min-jung replied, "That's why it's fascinating. She sees me as herself," eliciting laughter.
Son Yeon-jae also commented, "Jun-hoo is really handsome. I saw him at Seo-yi's first birthday party, and he seemed like a leader among his friends." Lee Min-jung added, "That day, the energy of ten kids shouting 'Catch the ball, Seo-yi!' was incredible. I mouthed 'Be quiet,' and Jun-hoo asked, 'What, mom?' causing laughter."
Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung married actor Lee Byung-hun in 2013, welcomed their son Jun-hoo in 2015, and daughter Seo-yi in 2023. Son Yeon-jae married a financier in August 2022 and gave birth to a son in February last year.
