K-Pop group VVUP (members Kim, Fan, Suyeon, and Jiyoon) is set to return with a fresh concept.
According to their agency, Ego ENT, VVUP will release their digital single 'House Party' on the 22nd. This track serves as a pre-release for their first mini-album, scheduled for November, showcasing a completely revamped image of VVUP.
With this release, VVUP aims to rebrand themselves across music, performance, and visuals. The agency stated, "We plan to present a style that is 180 degrees different from their previous image."
Alongside the comeback announcement, VVUP shared a teaser video on their official social media channels. The video features images that reinterpret Eastern elements like mother-of-pearl boxes and traditional Korean patterns in a modern way, hinting at a new universe with the appearance of a mother-of-pearl box engraved with 'House Party.'
VVUP made a notable entry into the U.S. and U.K. iTunes K-POP charts with their debut track 'Locked On.' They have since performed at 'KCON' in Hong Kong and Japan, marking an impressive global presence for a rookie group. Recently, they announced a collaboration with a luxury golf wear brand, which was covered by over 90 media outlets in Japan.
VVUP's new single 'House Party' will be available on major music streaming platforms at 6 PM on the 22nd.
