Comedian Heo Kyung-hwan recently confessed that he was aware of Kim Jong-kook's marriage before it became public.
On the 7th, Heo Kyung-hwan appeared on Lee Guk-joo's YouTube channel.
Lee Guk-joo introduced Heo Kyung-hwan as "the most difficult celebrity to book and the one who knows the least about good restaurants," drawing attention.
Heo Kyung-hwan humorously remarked to Lee Guk-joo, who is currently living in Japan, "Why do you go to Japan? You say you're in Japan, but you're always in Korea. I thought you had a twin," causing laughter.
Lee Guk-joo admitted, "I do spend more time in Japan, but I often come to Korea," and explained, "I went to Japan because I had no work, but then I started getting offers and regular gigs there."
In response to Heo Kyung-hwan's unexpected question, "How's your Japanese boyfriend doing?" Lee Guk-joo emphasized that she doesn't have a boyfriend, saying, "I'm popular abroad, but even there, they prefer slim and pretty women."
Lee Guk-joo expressed her disappointment towards 'My Little Old Boy' members Kim Jong-min, Kim Jun-ho, and Kim Jong-kook, who recently announced their marriages, saying, "Don't suddenly start dating, oppa. How do the 'My Little Old Boy' members suddenly get married like that?"
Heo Kyung-hwan revealed that he knew about Kim Jong-kook's secret marriage beforehand, saying, "Jong-kook hinted at it. After he moved, I asked, 'Isn't that a newlywed house?' and he replied, 'It could be.' It seemed like he was intentionally dropping hints." It was reported that even the 'Running Man' members, who have been with Kim Jong-kook for 15 years, were surprised by the news.
Lee Guk-joo, who asked Heo Kyung-hwan to set her up on a blind date, shared her ideal type, saying, "My ideal face was Choi Chang-min back in the day, but it keeps changing. Now, I like someone with a mysterious vibe like Lee Min-ki. But more than looks, I want someone who can banter well with me."
Lee Guk-joo previously explained the reason for her breakup, saying, "He was a bit neglectful, and I found out he met a woman at a drinking party. Once I break up, there's no going back. I've never called an ex, but they have called me."
Heo Kyung-hwan recalled, "My ex-girlfriend used to get angry often. Whenever we fought, I always apologized. Once, I wondered what would happen if I didn't apologize after a fight. She threw the corn she was eating at me, and that's when I thought it was time to break up."
Meanwhile, Lee Guk-joo proposed, "If we don't get married in 10 years, let's do 'Same Bed, Different Dreams' together," to which Heo Kyung-hwan replied, "A 'Same Bed, Different Dreams' without marriage," drawing a line.
