RIIZE Triumphs in Pistol Shooting at 2025 Idol Star Championships
RIIZE, the popular boy group, clinched the gold medal in the pistol shooting event, much to the delight of their fans.

The event was broadcast on October 6 at 5:10 PM on MBC's '2025 Chuseok Special Idol Star Championships,' featuring a thrilling final showdown between ZEROBASEONE and RIIZE in the shooting category.

The competition saw a pistol shooting face-off, with legendary shooter Kim Jung-mi and rapid-fire pistol medalist Jo Young-jae providing expert commentary. In the semifinals, ZEROBASEONE and RIIZE battled for a spot in the finals.

In a previous match-up, RIIZE's Shotaro emerged victorious against ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao. The next duel featured ZEROBASEONE's Han Yu-jin against RIIZE's Wonbin. In the first series of the final round, Han Yu-jin scored 3.8, while Wonbin scored 8.8.

As Wonbin widened the gap, both RIIZE members and fans cheered enthusiastically. With ZEROBASEONE at 8 points and RIIZE at 14, only one more win was needed for RIIZE to secure victory. Meanwhile, Han Yu-jin needed to win all four remaining shots. The final scores were Han Yu-jin with 6.9 and Wonbin with 7.6, leading to RIIZE's victory. Lee Chang-seop praised Wonbin's focus, saying, "His concentration is impressive."

With RIIZE advancing to the finals, they faced off against P1Harmony. In the match between P1Harmony's Keeho and RIIZE's Anton, Anton secured higher points. Subsequent matches saw P1Harmony's Jongseob against Shotaro, and Intak against Wonbin. Intak's performance tied the scores.

However, Wonbin's superior points led RIIZE to win the gold medal in the men's team pistol shooting event. Anton, wearing the gold medal, expressed his joy, saying, "We really wanted to win, and we're so happy we did."
